Why accounting should be integrated with ERP
Accounting software records a company's income, expenses, receivables, payables, taxes and assets and produces statutory and management reports. For years, many businesses in Turkey kept accounting in a separate packaged program while sales and stock lived in spreadsheets or another system.
In that setup, every invoice, receipt and stock movement is entered twice and the books are often only up to date at month end. With accounting integrated into ERP, a sales order flows into an invoice, the invoice into the customer account and the receipt into the bank transaction automatically. Management sees profitability and cash without waiting for month end.
Odoo accounting and Turkish requirements

Community vs Enterprise for accounting
Odoo Community includes the Invoicing app: invoices, payments, partner accounts and basic accounting entries. Comprehensive financial reports and advanced accounting screens come with the Accounting app in Enterprise. For businesses on Community, our Partner Ledger module provides the partner and tax reports needed most often.

Moving from your current accounting software
We migrate partner records, opening balances and the historical data you need from your current accounting software with our data migration service.
